Record Description : The ODNR Office of Coastal Management maintains Liability files which may contain visitor waivers to hold the State of Ohio, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), and any ODNR employee(s) harmless from any and all liability, claims, demands, rights or causes of action, payments, or expenses, of any nature whatsoever, by reason of personal injuries or death sustained by visitors, visitors’ child(ren), or damage to their property or property of visitor child(ren), while present on lands owned, leased, controlled, or administered by the ODNR or while a passenger in any vehicle, aircraft, watercraft, or other conveyance owned, leased, or operated by the ODNR. Files may also contain acknowledgement of facility and property rules.
