Record Description : Geotechnical test data includes results of soil classificiations, both visual and mechanical, as well as data from soil and rock strength testing. In addition, it includes inclinometer readings from landslide locations used to indicate the depth of failure surface for a slope. Ther have been multiple cases where test data was taken for projects that due to funding issues, were delayed for 10 years. At the time funding became available, the test data was then used to create the soil profile sheets to be included in the plans. The test data may also be used for further analysis as it is combined with more recently acquired date.
