Record Description : Custodial banks are required to submit a copy of their SSAE 16 report on an annual basis to the Trust department. Statements on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAEs) are issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). SSAE 16 reports discuss internal controls in place at service organizations (custodial bank) for activities that are relevant to the client''''''''s (Treasurer''''''''s) financial reporting. Prior to 2011, these reports were referred to as SAS 70. Included in this record series is a checklist and analysis document completed by the Trust department that documents the department''''''''s evaluation of the relevant SSAE 16.
