Record Description : Traffic crash and eCitation statistics are compiled from traffic crash reports and electronic crash data, and eCitation received from Ohio law enforcement agencies following their investigations of traffic crashes, and traffic law enforcement. The crash data is collected and maintained pursuant to Revised Code section 5502.01, which directs the Ohio Department of Public Safety to compile, analyze, and publish motor vehicle accident statistics for the purpose of education and research. This record series includes the OH-1 (form HSY7001)and the eCitation. Collected OH-1 data is published to the Department of Public Safety''s Crash Statistics website at: https://ext.dps.state.oh.us/crashstatistics/CrashReports.aspx
