Record Description : File contains, but is not limited to, information and documentation related to audits of Unemployment Insurance(UI) Data Validation (DV) functions to ensure the State of Ohio is in compliance with federally mandated procedures (ETA 361 Benefits, 361 Tax, 412 UI DV Monitoring Guide, and 401 UI Reports Handbooks and ET Operations Guide 411) established for UI reporting. Monitoring reviews, including pre and post monitoring conferences to explain the scope of the review and any findings that occur, are conducted every three years of random samples of up to 28 components Ohio Job Insurance (OJI) Benefits populations 1, 2, 3, 3a, 4, 5, 12, 13, 14, Module 4, separation and non-separation quality; RC Express Benefits populations 6 – 11; Module 4, appeals quality; and Tax populations 1 – 5; Module 4 (Status New, Status Successor, Status Terminations/Inactivation’s, and Field Audits; Module 5, Wage Item Validation) for specific review periods. Department of Labor (DOL) conducts a regional review every three years.
