Record Description : The ODNR Office of Coastal Management maintains files related to applications for Salvage Permits authorizing the recovery, alteration, salvage or destruction of abandoned property associated with submerged watercraft or aircraft in Lake Erie. The files may contain applications, maps/charts, photographs, and affidavits attesting to the fact that the property is abandoned, or affidavits stating the inability of the applicant to locate the owner or inability to specifically identify the property in question, a specific plan for recovery, alteration, salvage, or destruction, and renewal requests.
