Record Description : In accordance with ORC 4765.07 the State Board of EMS (via the Div of EMS) provides grant money to EMS organizations for training and equipment. Also, some grant money for research and injury prevention projects. These grant moneys are distributed annually, with applications being posted in January of each year. In some instances, additional specialty grants are awarded via an application process at other times during the year. These applications may be submitted in hard copy or electronically. Hard copy applications are entered into a database. Applications ask for contact information, demographic information, amount of money requested and for what purpose the money will be used.
