Record Description : As quoted under section 4503.04 Paragraph I of the Ohio Revised Code, when a person or agent of a corporation request registration for a transit bus, the Transit Bus Registration Application (BMV4607 or BMV4619) has to be accompanied with an affidavit. The Transit Bus Affidavit is furnished by the Special Plates Division and signed by the person or agent who will be operating the bus. The person will agree that the bus will have a seating capacity of more than seven persons; be operated and used in a public mass transportation service (and at least seventy-five percent of the annual mileage of such operation); used within one or more municipal corporation(s) or solely for the transportation of persons associated with a charitable or nonprofit corporation. The affidavit is valid for one registration year and a new one is required each year in order to renew registration.
