Record Description : In compliance with Section 4510.037(A) of the Ohio Revised Code, any person who has accumulated one-half (6) or more of the total number of points (12) for which a driver''s license may be suspended, shall be notified by a warning letter (BMV 2817). This warning letter is computer generated by the Data Processing Division of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and contains all convictions of record, along with the number of points charged for each; licensee''s name and address; key number; file number, and the mailing date. The original letter is mailed to the licensee and a copy imaged.
