Record Description : In accordance with section 4510.037 C (1) of the Ohio Revised Code, any person against whom at least two but less than twelve points have been charged, may enroll in a course of remedial driving instruction that is approved by the director of public safety. Upon completion of an approved course of remedial driving instruction, the person may apply for a credit of two points on their driving record. The registrar shall not approve any credits for a person who completes an approved course of remedial driving instruction pursuant to a judges order under section 4510.02 of the ORC. In any three year period, the registrar shall approve only one two-point credit per driving record and no more than five two-point credits on a persons driving record during that persons lifetime. All incoming correspondence relating to remedial driving course is stored in the image case folder.
