Record Description : In accordance with section 4505.101 of the Ohio Revised Code, the owner of any repair garage or place of storage in which a motor vehicle with a value of less than twenty five hundred dollars (the value of the motor vehicle, as determined in accordance with standards fixed by the Registrar of Motor Vehicles, less expenses incurred by the owner) has been abandoned for fifteen days may request the owner to remove vehicle from their property. If the owner of the abandoned vehicle does not comply within fifteen days upon receipt of certified notification, the repair garage or place of storage shall obtain a certificate of title from the Clerk of Court in any county. The affidavit contains the owner''''s name and address, state, name and address of lienholder (if one), custodian''''s name and address, and the date.
