Record Description : The End of Day Reports and Universal Registration documents are files from the Special Plates Unit of the Registration Section. Each file contains an End of Day Deposit Report as well as all Universal Registration applications and supporting documents. The Universal Registration documents include those forms necessary when issuing: voiture, organizational, non-resident, farm truck, collector, camp bus, senior bus, church bus, disability placards, disability, personalized and reserve plates/validation stickers.
#1. Voiture & Organizational: Under Section 4503.18 of the Ohio Revised Code, special license plates may be issued to any United States service organization chartered by Congress for the purpose of operating in a parade and /or for exhibition use of specially equiped motor vehicles.
#2. Non-resident: Under Section 4503.04 of the ORC, Ohio non-resident license plates may be issued to a company in another state for the intention of transporting unprocessed agricultural products intrastate.
#3. Farm Truck: Under Section 4503.04 of the ORC, a farm truck license plate may be issued to farmers for transporting products, livestock, etc.
#4. Collector: Under Section 4503.45 of the ORC, the owner of a collector vehicle may purchase collector license plates.
#5. Camp Bus: Under Section 4503.17 of the ORC, camp bus license plates may be issued, as assigned by the Board of Education, for the purpose of transporting children to camp.
#6. Senior Bus: Under Section 4503.04 of the ORC, senior license plates may be issued to a bus for the purpose of transporting senior citizens.
#7. Church Bus: Under Section 4503.07 of the ORC, the church bus plate may be issued to a church bus that is to be used exclusively to transport members of a church congregation to and from church services and functions or to transport children and their supervisors to and from any camping function sponsored by a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization.
#8. Disability Placard: Under Section 4503.44 of the ORC, a disability placard may be issued to an individual with a qualifying disability when a physicians prescription has been submitted and the necessary paperwork provided.
#9. Disability Plate: Under Section 4503.44 of the ORC, a disability plate may be issued to an individual with a qualifying disability when the proper documentation from the individuals physician has been submitted.
#10. Personalized & Reserved: Under Section 4503.42 of the ORC, a plate may be issued to a registrant with personalized or reserved combination of characters at the request of the customer.
Any number of Universal Registration Applications and supporting documents may be included in these files. Each file will contain an End of Day Report and associated registration applications and supporting documents. Supporting documentation may include customer medical information as well as individual financial account data (from receipts).
