Record Description : A ledger is generated by the Data Processing Division and submitted by the Deputy Registrar Services Division to the Registration Division. The ledger is maintained for the purpose of recording all chargeable and accountable items such as; license plates, validation stickers and handicap placards consigned to them. The ledger contains the issuance date; series of what was consigned; returned to the BMV Distribution Center because of errors, damaged or number duplications; transferred from one division to another and the quantity. One set of the consignment ledgers are maintained in the Central Operations division, Audit/Consignment unit.
