Record Description : In accordance with sections 4509 of the Ohio Revised Code, the driver of any motor vehicle which is involved in a motor vehicle accident with an uninsured driver shall, within thirty days forward a written report of the accident (Accident Report) to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles for processing. At that time, the Bureau will evaluate the accident report. If the dollar amount for the property damage cannot be determined or there is no estimate on the report, then a non-accident case is established.

IT should scan files and delete records 1 year from set-up date. All cases generated on/or after January, 1989 are stored in imaging. Retain for 1 year from set-up date. If no additional documentation is received to establish a suspension all records are deleted after 1 year from the set-up date.
