Record Description : Various payment types (checks, credit cards, etc.) issued for payment of services are returned by the bank and remain unpaid. The Tax Distribution Section is notified, and a letter is sent to the customer requesting payment. If payment is not received within 45 days, the claim is forwarded to the office of the Attorney General for collection assistance.
