The statute of limitations for the crime of arson and aggravated arson is 7 and 20 yrs respectively; the statute of limitations for a homicide is indefinite. New witnesses and/or evidence may be discovered leading to an arrest or criminal prosecution. Records are also sought for civil actions for years post-incident.
