Record Description : All records pertaining to programs to ensure equal opportunity in government contracting, including business certification programs such as Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Encouraging Diversity, Growth, and Equity (EDGE), Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), Veteran-Friendly Business Enterprise (VBE) and other disadvantaged business certification programs, as well as state agency contractor utilization reporting, and Construction Compliance. Documents in this series include, but are not limited to: initial, cross-certification and recertification applications or affidavits and their supporting documentation; certificates; compliance monitoring records; all applicable reports; notifications; affirmative action plans; complaints; denials; revocations; appeals; records of hearings; adjudication matters; correspondence; annual procurement percentage goals for each agency; annual expenditure projection reports and quarterly expenditure reports filed by each agency; and all other records filed with and related to programs and initiatives to ensure equal opportunity in government contracting. NOTES: Statutory or regulatory provisions applicable to certain programs may affect retention of related records. In such cases, the statutory or regulatory provisions shall take precedence over the retention language set forth in this schedule. Records subject to audit shall be further retained until audit report is released and discrepancies addressed. LITIGATION HOLD: Any records subject to a litigation hold must be retained until the hold is lifted by the Legal Office, regardless of whether the specified retention period has elapsed.
