The DA/JE files are the only consolidated narrative record of how the Ohio State Highway System (State, US, and Interstate routes) originated and evolved over the years. It constitutes a historical record that includes the construction of new roads, their reroutings and abandonments, coordination with local agencies, and other info concerning the evolution of the present road network. Individual records are admissible into court as legal documents. |
