Record Description : These files contain the original tracings of Federal and State funded highway construction projects plotted on a reproducible material including Special Provisions, Supplemental Specifications and Standard Construction Drawings.

Retain in active area until construction project is awarded to contractor. Original tracings are then scan to a digital format. The original tracings are then returned to the District office according to jurisdiction. After receipt the District may destroy the original tracings after verifying the tracings have been scanned. Digital plan tracings are archived on active server for seven years and then transfered to an inactive server until highway is sold or abandon.	This file needs to be maintained for the life of the highway for reference purposes for future changes and repairs of the road.	Electronic	Permanent
