Record Description : This schedule relates to the collection and compilation of statistical data regarding the cause and prevention of injuries, occupational illnesses and accidents to employees. The Major Research category consists of data files and results for complex projects (e.g. claim count, cost, and averages/percentages by various categories such as industry, causation, risk type, year, payroll range, and other analysis) requested by the Safety & Hygiene Superintendant or other similar person/entity or relating to an important result such as the BWC Annual Report, public records request, publication in statistical journals, etc. Also included are data stored for future reference, such as claim 30-month aged costs, factor-adjusted claim costs, fatalities researched by Safety & Hygiene, etc.
