Retain two (2) years after completion of program or project, or until superseded or obsolete. (Federal or state statutory or regulatory provisions applicable to certain programs may affect record retention periods. In such cases, the statutory or regulatory provisions shall take precedence over the retention language set forth in this schedule.) Records subject to audit shall be further retained until audit report is released and discrepancies addressed. Upon expiration of the retention period: STATE ARCHIVE REVIEW IS REQUIRED for state plans and official annual and final reports. ALL OTHER RECORDS IN THIS SERIES: destroy after the retention period has elapsed.
