Record Description :  This retention schedule consists of, but is not limited to, documents, reports, letters or other information received from licensed or certified appraiser applicants attempting to demonstrate they have satisfied the requirements found in Ohio Revised Code Section 4763.05(B) and Ohio Administrative Code 1301:11-3-04. Pursuant to Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), records provided by applicants will contain confidential appraisal information. Ohio appraisers are required to follow USPAP pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 4763.13(A).

For applications that are approved, paper records related to the samples are to be retained until the approval of the application. Then the paper records shall be destroyed. For applications that are denied, paper records related to the samples are to be retained until the application is denied, the denial is reversed or the expiration of appeals, whichever is later.
