Record Description :  The Adjudication Committee Hearing Records are created for The Adjudicating Committee Hearings. These records contain the employer’s formal complaint “e.g. protest letters” the Bureau’s position on the issue, and/or the Employer Group’s formal complaint, statement of facts, complaint decision, compliant denial letter, and any cases, rules, or laws being relied upon by the parties. The decision Order drafted by the Committee Chairperson in Legal or the decision Order of the Administrator’s Designee when appealed to a second level hearing. These Orders may be appealed to Court by the Employer or the Employer Group. The Adjudicating Committee Hearing Records are scanned into the Universal Document Service (UDS). The Universal Document Service (UDS) is an imaging concept that stores any type of electronic file, such as Microsoft Office documents, Adobe Acrobat, audio/video, Computer Aided Design (CAD), etc. as well as scanned images.

The Adjudication Committee Hearing Records are drafted, kept, and published into a PDF in the Legal Division’s Adjudicating SharePoint site. Scan the final Portable Document Format (PDF) into the Universal Document Service (UDS) Employer Services Policy Risk file and verify for quality assurance. Retain for ten (10) years after the final adjudicating order, and then delete. Review information every 3 years to ensure that the files can still be accessed and are readable and then migrate to new media if needed. Potential litigation due to no statute of limitations for mandamus cases.
