Record Description : The Lien Releases are filed in non-complying employer claims and premium balances. These liens are placed once an employer has non-compliant claims filed and the billing is certified to the Attorney General’s office for non-payment and/or an employer’s premium balance has been certified to the AG for non-payment. The employer did not maintain Workers’ Compensation at the time the claim was filed. The liens are scanned into the Universal Document Service (UDS). The Universal Document Service (UDS) is an imaging concept that stores any type of electronic file, such as Microsoft Office documents, Adobe Acrobat, audio/video, Computer Aided Design (CAD), etc. as well as scanned images.
