For criminal background checks with identified criminal records, contact the court of jurisdiction to obtain certified records, then shred Criminal Background Check.	These reports are highly confidential under state and federal law and the Board is advised to dispose of the record as quickly as possible once the needed information is obtained and the record has served its purpose.
