Record Description :  Direct deposit warrant transactions that have failed due to on-line entry of incorrect or incomplete account information from claimants who have elected to have their UC benefits directly deposited into their bank account. Benefits Finance issues a Notice of Eligibility Issue form alerting the claimant of the error and requesting they send in a voided personal check to verify the correct account information. Once the correct data has been entered into the Ohio Job Insurance (OJI) system, the voided checks are put into a locked pouch and sent to Records Management for shredding. The pouch is then returned to Benefits Finance for future use.
